We are a locally-owned, family-operated restaurant, opened in November 2019 with the vision of bringing the delicious, bold, and authentic flavors of Indian street food to our North Carolina community. Our beautiful brick building sits at the intersection of High House and Magness Drive and is our first and only location.
Nukkad’s wide-ranging menu offers delicacies from a variety of Indian regions, prepared by a passionate team of skilled chefs, and served by a dedicated team that is eager to introduce you to Indian culture and history.
Our restaurant strives to capture the casual, energetic environment of Indian streetscapes within our neighborhood cafe. The ambiance, combined with the scrumptious food (always prepared fresh to order!), makes Nukkad an experience you must try for yourself.
Nukkad (pronounced nook-urr), means ‘street corner’ in Hindi. In India, these street corners are where the most delightful delicacies of Indian cuisine can be found. Our goal is to replicate this same magic at our restaurant, and we look forward to welcoming you into ‘our corner of happiness.’
